BUZZER TRUMPS SCORECARD

Our new Fleet Connect Plug-N-Play GPS device with buzzer feature provides drivers with a pro-active driver behavior modification system that has several advantages over typical Driver Behavior Scorecards.

The buzzer alerts drivers immediately when speeding, excessive idling, rapid acceleration, deceleration, or hard cornering. A high pitched continuous audible “beep-beep” alerts the driver whenever they are exceeding set thresholds mandated by their supervisor. This feature CANNOT be disconnected by the driver, as the built-in back up battery will continue to alert the driver even when its disconnected from the vehicle.

Driver Behavior Scorecards, on the other hand, require managers to interpret and manage the data first, then give constructive criticism after the fact to their field techs on how to improve their driving habits.
