Mobile Tracking and Consulting Services has added a great new feature to their very popular Fleet Connect GPS System that “buzzes” the driver when speeding, harsh breaking or accelerating, turning a corner too fast, or even idling. When enabled, the device creates an audible buzzing sound that will alert the driver to the point they will comply.

Fleet Connect GPS System uses recommended thresholds that alert drivers for the following behaviors:

• Rapid acceleration (.30g)
• Harsh braking (.45g)
• Hard right and left turning events (.35g)
• Idling (300 seconds / 5 minutes)
• Speeding (75 mph)

The device thresholds per device are set at the time of shipment/installation. If you would like to set new defaults for your organization, you can set them using the Threshold Configuration Manager. You can apply your preferred defaults to all applicable devices, or you can configure device settings individually.
