Mobile Tracking is on a mission to find a smart phone app for commercial fleets that will prevent texting and sending/receiving calls when the vehicle is in motion. While there are a number of apps on the market for teenage drivers and consumer use, there appears to be nothing available for fleet managers and business owners unless they want to also purchase a plug-n-play device for every vehicle in their fleet.

So, that being said, Mobile Tracking is going on a mission to find a company that’s willing to develop an app for commercial use. The app would allow Administrators to set policies according to the drivers responsibility. IE; Supervisor, Manager, Field Tech, etc..These policies would dictate who can send receive certain calls, messages, and texts, and what hours of operation the app would function. Of course, if the vehicle is in motion, only incoming calls from approved numbers would be accepted. No texting, emails, or outgoing calls while the vehicle is in motion. Even if Blue Tooth is enabled. Talking on the phone while driving is still a major distraction, especially if the driver is trying to take down information related to their job.
