The new SafetyTrax DDM camera system from Safety Vision will track driver fatigue and texting while driving. It monitors the drivers eye lids and distractions based on the driver not looking forward out the windshield. It is part of their SafetyTrax solution.

Driver Fatigue Monitor:

Indicates the current state of a drivers wakefulness based upon the percentage of time his eyes are open.

Driver Distraction Monitor:

Indicates the drivers attentiveness based upon the percentage of time his eyes are focused directly in the direction of travel.

Driver alerts:

There are three levels of alerts, the highest level going to the dispatcher.
